Cyclonic Mist Eliminators

Manufacturing and Installation for Dead Sea Magnesium Plant

As part of a project executed for the Dead Sea Magnesium Plant, we were required to design and manufacture a cyclonic system for emission air treatment.

Project Scope:

System Components:

  • 13 Mist Eliminators of cyclonic system design with internal baffle configuration
  • Polypropylene (PP) Construction - Selected for superior resistance to acids, corrosion, temperatures, and harsh chemical conditions
  • Scrubber Column Integration - System incorporated within the existing scrubber column for gas capture and chemical neutralization processes
  • Custom Engineering - Individual adaptation of each mist eliminator according to flow conditions, flow rates, and structural constraints of the column
  • Precision Manufacturing and Assembly - Executed under engineering constraints at active facility, in collaboration with plant engineers and environmental teams

System Objectives:

Enhanced Separation Efficiency - Improving the separation effectiveness of liquid materials (such as acids, fine particles) to prevent emission of harmful substances to the atmosphere, in compliance with stringent regulatory requirements.

Engineering Challenge:

Complex Internal Integration: Integration of sophisticated internal mechanisms within the existing scrubber column, with precise adaptation to geometries, openings, and ventilation systems, ensuring maximum operational safety and optimal separation performance.
